Grilled Turkey Caesar Salad
Not feeling like a burger? You can grill or bake one of our cage-free turkey burgers in approximately 15 minutes and create this healthy dinner salad for two.
Ingredients:
· 2 Free Graze Turkey frozen patties
· 2 Romaine hearts
· ½ Small red onion
· Caesar dressing
· Parmesan
· Salt and Pepper
· Bacon bits (or vegan bacon bits, for a lower fat alternative).
Slice the cooked turkey patties after allowing them to cool slightly (this keeps the lettuce crisp). Hand-break the romaine lettuce into bite sized pieces. Add parmesan cheese and salt and pepper to taste, with the bacon bits, and toss with your favorite low-fat Caesar salad dressing. Garnish with cracked pepper and onion and serve with a side of toasted garlic bread or crostini.
If you are preparing a meal for more than two people, allocate one turkey patty per person. Or more, if they’re extra hungry.
Low-Carb Thai Turkey Wraps
What can you do with leftover cooked Free Graze turkey burgers? You can repurpose them into a delicious wrap at home, or for a tasty workday lunch. To avoid the dreaded ‘soggy wrap’, you can bypass the mayo, and garnish your wrap with an Asian inspired peanut dressing, when you are ready to eat.
Ingredients:
· 1 Free Graze Turkey frozen patty
· ½ Avocado (sliced thinly)
· 1 cup of pre-packaged Asian coleslaw (undressed)
· 2 Whole wheat tortillas
· Thai peanut dressing
Pre-cook your Free Graze frozen turkey burger according to directions on the package. Slice laterally, into narrow strips, and set aside.
Take a light amount of a Thai inspired peanut dressing and use a basting brush to lightly season your tortilla, covering the whole area of the wrap. Next, add two slices of fresh avocado, and ½ cup of the Asian coleslaw.
Wrap up your tortilla and enjoy right away, or pack it for a delicious lunch tomorrow in the refrigerator. For extra punch, pack a small amount of the dressing to garnish your wrap, when you are ready to eat!
Delicious Turkey Soup
